Privacy Shield Privacy Policy for Consumer Data

Customer Portfolios complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Types of Data Collected

We may collect, store and use the information you voluntarily provide on our site. For instance, we may collect your contact information if you provide it to us through the “contact us” form or other forms to access certain content. The information you provide will be used solely to support your relationship with Customer Portfolios. These registration forms ask for information such as:

Further, we collect certain information from your browser when you visit our site, including your IP address and domain name at the company level along with the pages you visited. We do this to improve marketing, analytics and site functionality.

Customer Portfolios collects the personal information you provide when applying for open positions through our online career center. We may contact you regarding your application at the address you provide.

How we collect it

We collect data on our website if you voluntarily fill out a form. These forms can either be found in the Contact Us section or to access certain content, such as whitepapers. These forms ask information such as: Name, Company Name, Business Email, Business Phone Number. These forms are voluntary and not required for general use of the website.

Our data is hosted in a CRM, and may be updated with publicly available information, such as information on LinkedIn. Customer Portfolios also collects information from publicly or commercially available sources that it deems credible. Such information may include your name, address, email address, and demographic/profile data.

Customer Portfolios uses cookies from and Google Analytics to help us understand which parts of our websites are visited most often and understand traffic patterns on pages. What we do with it

On the website, you can request information from Customer Portfolios; register for events; download thought leadership content; and submit an application for employment. To support these activities, Customer Portfolios will ask for information about you and the company for which you work. The information you provide will be used solely to support your relationship with Customer Portfolios.

We use Salesforce CRM and Hubspot for social marketing and email. We are the collector and controller of this data. We do not sell or share personal data. We are liable, under the Principles, for a third-party agent that processes Personal Data in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles, unless not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may be different. If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.

We use physical, electronic and administrative safeguards designed to protect your personal information against loss, misuse or alteration. All information is stored securely and may only be accessed by employees with a legitimate business need to access the information.

Accessing Your Data and Opting Out

We believe it is important to provide consumers with clear information about the data available in our databases. Additionally, Customer Portfolios is a participant in the dispute resolution procedures of the Association of National Advertisers pursuant to the Privacy Shield Principles. Individuals have the right to invoke Binding Arbitration as a means to resolve any Privacy Shield Complaints. Individuals must contact the company directly, followed by the ANA Privacy Shield Dispute Resolution program before they can invoke Binding Arbitration. Binding Arbitration will be used solely to resolve individual complaints with no monetary reward available.
