Marketing Program Specialist

The Marketing Program Specialist role serves as the owner of relationships between Customer Portfolios and multiple client accounts. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and launching multi-channel marketing programs leveraging deep knowledge of a number of applications in combination with business and marketing domain expertise.

Strong leadership and project management skills coupled with client-facing experience, as well as impeccable communication skills, are keys to success in this role. You must also have an understanding of customer database marketing and feel comfortable with technology-heavy environment. You will work closely with the extended team and would be involved in all areas of Customer Portfolios’ delivery to ensure that client needs are being met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and launch multi-channel marketing programs using various software to satisfy client program requirements
  • Act as lead in client interactions, status meetings, account and program overviews
  • Meet multiple scheduling deadlines with an independent, self-starting and detailed follow-through approach
  • Lead client communications in a virtual environment
  • Execute programs and then track, measure, and report results to the clients
  • On-boarding and start-up for new clients
  • Research and stay up-to-date with industry best practices to make knowledgeable recommendations to clients

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline
  • Required HTML experience and knowledge of web development tools (Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage or similar applications)
  • Required experience with email service providers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Experian, QuickPivot, StrongView, MailChimp, Responsys)
  • Professional experience with customer databases and web-based applications
  • Experience in working on multiple projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and switch quickly between tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of professional interactions / presentations with the internal team, and to clients
  • Ability to consultatively engage with clients and to make appropriate recommendations
  • Ability to quickly learn new marketing applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Knowledgeable of business related software systems (CRM, POS, CMS, SFA, etc.) a plus

What you’ll do

  • Strategically own client projects from beginning to end as the expert analyst on the team
  • Develop quantitative analysis, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting to demonstrate performance of key business initiatives and define areas for optimization
  • Synthesize complex analytics into compelling top level findings for presentations to senior marketing executives
  • Work with data engineers and solution architects to source new data, resolve system issues that impede data extraction, and design structures which will best support analytical efforts
  • Work with internal and client-marketing teams to define and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize the customer experience and maximize customer value
  • Comfortable sharing expertise with other team members and leading new analytical initiatives

Your Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with proven success in designing analytical approaches to understand key business behaviors that drive acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Proficiency in SQL– on the job experience collaborating with architects on table design to support Tableau reporting and ad hoc requests.  The bulk of our work is done in SQL.

Customer Portfolios is seeking a Business Development Manager who will help with the growth of our client base. In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales leads for the Business Development team. Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: 0 - 2 years in sales/customer service. Experience with warm/cold calling techniques a plus.

Responsibilities of the position:

  • Set meetings and help define and implement a repeatable sales process.
  • Identify qualified prospects through research such as ZoomInfo, Linked In, company web sites, securities filings, recent news articles, and any other sources.
  • Secure telephone or face-to-face sales meetings for the Business Development team through email and telephone calls and by navigating through prospect organizations.
  • Enter all prospect interactions in Salesforce to accurately record customer conversations, category analysis, in a structured manner that is re-usable sales intelligence.
  • Develop a good understanding of Customer Portfolios’ offerings, in order to succinctly articulate the value proposition and overcome objections.
  • Participate in the creation of a repeatable sales engine by helping design and implement a structured methodology, with reportable dashboard metrics, to measure effectiveness and accountability, understand key market segments, and ultimately build out the team.
